For this project I challenged myself to design Disney products that cater towards young adults who are still fans of Disney but may want more subtle or mature design.
My first set of posters were based on The Lion King. This is because it has always been my favourite Disney film and I wanted to design some posters that I would feel happy displaying in my room at university.
Because I wanted the posters to work individually or as a set there are themes that run through all three.
These posters are based on the characters of Simba, Mufasa, and Scar.
The next set is for the film Toy Story.
This poster style is similar to the first set of Lion King posters in terms of layout, however it differs slightly with its colourings and illustration style.
The less saturated style is what makes this design more subtle and mature, rather than the colours being too in your face.
